Our Mission
The purpose of Hussle Up Inc is to help disadvantaged children of color in underserved communities by providing them with guidance. To help break the cycle of poverty and crime which leads to incarceration and increase college admission rates through education, support, and strong mentorship.
Hussle Up Inc is an organization inspired by the rapper Ermias Joseph Asghedom (August 15, 1985 – March 31, 2019), known professionally as Nipsey Hussle. Hussle focused on “giving solutions and inspiration” to young black men like him. He denounced gun violence through his music, influence, and community work. He spoke openly about his experiences with gang culture in hopes of detailing young black boys from doing the same.
We at Hussle Up Inc focus on the same beliefs and throughout the year we Hussle by spreading love and giving back to the community as our way of ensuring Marathon Continues.”
